NSFL: Here's what a belly button looks like after it has been removed

Belly buttons are weird. What was once a lifeline, turns into a strange, useless scar right in the middle of your abdomen.

A photo appropriately submitted to the subreddit r/WTF hit the frontpage on Wednesday, which revealed a bellybutton that had been voluntarily removed for the purposes of body modification.

The procedure, called "navel null," which is short for nullification, was performed by body modification expert John Smith, who runs a traveling business called Luna Cobra.
