Ben Carson just wants someone to attack him. Please. Anyone. He's begging you.

Two hours into Thursday's Republican presidential debate, Carson was begging one of his rivals to berate him, if only so he could get some speaking time. Carson has finished far behind his rivals in each early-state contest, and he hardly got any speaking time during the CNN debate. But if someone attacks a candidate on stage, that candidate gets to respond, so...

"Can somebody attack me, please?" Carson pleaded.

But his rivals didn't seem to hear him.

Later, someone brought up Carson's name. It was hardly an attack, but Carson was taking anything at this point.

"My name was mentioned," Carson said, seemingly into the wind. "My name was mentioned."

That's all he got to say.
