LONDON -- Benedict Cumberbatch made another impassioned speech about the refugee crisis after his performance as Hamlet in the Barbican theatre earlier this week -- but this time he used some choice words to blast the British government, saying they're not doing enough.
He started his post-play soliloquy citing a poem by Somali-British writer Warsan Shire, which he's read previously in a Save the Children video, before criticising the British government for being an "utter disgrace" and adding in, "fuck the politicians," which was tweeted by some theatre-goers, the Daily Mail reported.
Was moved by Cumberbatch's appeal for refugees - wondered how Shirley Williams in audience viewed his **** the politicians #HamletBarbican— Rachel Martin (@RachelVMartin) October 27, 2015

In his September video for Save the Children, Cumberbatch told refugees, "We see you, we hear you and help is coming."
There are currently more than 4 million Syrian refugees displaced throughout various countries. The number of global refugees and internally displaced people is at its highest point since World War II.
