WASHINGTON — The latest ad from Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign doesn't look much like a traditional campaign spot. There are no attacks and you don't hear from the candidate himself.

The only words spoken in the minute-long spot come from the folk duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel singing "America," the 1968 hit about a young traveler who is ''empty and aching'' and doesn't know why, ''Countin' the cars on the New Jersey Turnpike...And they've all come to look for America."

The ad shows images of small-town America and the large, energized crowds that have filled Sanders events this primary season.

While Sanders was slow to get on air, his campaign has since been flooding the airwaves in key early voting states with TV spots, outspending Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.
