Feel that chill in the air? Apple picking season has arrived.
With every season comes the quintessential seasonal getaway, and with our fall sweaters, pumpkin spice lattes and watching the foliage change, there's nothing city dwellers love more than getting away from their beloved metropolises and communing with nature.
Between mid-September and late October, crisp, sweet apples are ripe for plucking all over the northeast United States, and there are plenty of orchards where people can go to take part in the fall festivities.
