Feel the festive spirit coming on?
These dogs certainly do. Decked out in tinsel, santa hats and reindeer ears, 18 canines strutted their stuff at the Festive Best Dressed Dog competition on Thursday at QV Melbourne's outdoor cinema.
The competition, judged by the careful eyes of QV cinema curator Gus Berger and his dog Dusty, also included adoption pets from the Lost Dogs' Home, one of Australia's largest animal shelters. This means it is all for a good Christmas cause. The fashion parade is a preview to the main event on Saturday, where 80 dogs are expected to take part in a bigger competition, alongside a special screening of the film Best In Show.
