Charlie Wilson, an R&B veteran as a soloist and frontman for The Gap Band, received a star-studded musical tribute from Stevie Wonder, Indie Arie and Jamie Foxx before accepting his Lifetime Achievement Award during Sunday night's BET Awards.
At the end of Wilson's acceptance speech, Justin Timberlake prodded Wilson to sing. Without much hesitation, Wilson grabbed the mic to perform a slew of his hits with help from Timberlake, Pharrell and Snoop Dogg (a.k.a Snoop Lion).
Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, R. Kelly, Miguel, Ciara, Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, Kendrick Lamar and others also performed at the BET Awards.
