How can you improve the bling factor of a $10,000+ gold Apple Watch Edition? Beyoncé has a pretty good idea.
In a photo recently posted on her website, she's wearing an Apple Watch Edition with what looks like a golden band, which is not available through Apple's standard retail channels.
In Apple's online store, the Apple Watch Edition is only available with a fluoroelastomer sport band, or a variety of leather bands. And even though all of these come with a gold pin or buckle, you won't find an Edition that's available with a band that's entirely gold.
The photo, first noticed by a user of MacRumors' forum, is accompanied by several others, in which the extra-gold Edition is also visible.
It's safe to assume that Beyoncé didn't just stroll into an Apple Store and demand a gold bracelet for her Edition. Rather, it's likely that's she's one of the many celebrities who have received an early and/or custom variant of the Watch from Apple. The list includes Drake, Pharrell and Katy Perry.
In fact, Beyoncé isn't even the first person donning an Apple Watch Edition with a gold band. Designer Karl Lagerfeld was seen wearing what seems to be the exact same model last week, as immortalized in the Instagram below.

As for the price of this model, it's probably higher than even the top-of-the-line Apple Watch Edition, which goes for $17,000. We assume, however it's still cheaper than this diamond-studded, custom-made variant, which goes for $114,995.
