Multi-platinum recording artist and ethereal goddess Beyoncé doesn't actually need anyone to come to her defense -- not Kanye and not her legion of devoted fans, affectionately nicknamed the BeyHive.

But that won't stop them from jumping at the opportunity to crush anything they perceive as a threat to her world domination.

Beck unwittingly became the target of the BeyHive at the Grammy when he won the coveted Album of the Year, which Beyoncé was also up for. The cyber-rage instantly went into full-force.

#WhoIsBeck was a trending topic on Twitter, quickly followed by an assault of edits on Beck's Wikipedia page accusing him of theft. One Wiki user with the username "Beckstolebeyoncesgrammy" was, unsurprisingly, particularly vigilant and is now blocked from making edits.

Beck and Beyoncé, meanwhile, seem totally cool with each other.
