Beyoncé's song 'Formation' is a celebration of race -- and some people, it appears, have a problem with that.
Last night Saturday Night Live, in one of its best sketches yet, took aim at white listeners who were offended by Queen Bey's supposedly radical content. Beyoncé first performed the song, rich with references to Black culture and power, at the Super Bowl. The song attracted ridiculous amounts of controversy, which is why SNL decided to raises the stakes a little further.
It isn't just that white audience didn't like the song, the parody claims. It's that they didn't even know she was black.
