Beyoncé has just released a new Illuminati recruiting video.

Just kidding -- we think. The clip, which dropped Thursday, was created by Vogue to accompany the superstar's September magazine cover.

There’s only one September Issue, and there’s only one @beyonce. Click the link in our bio to see more from inside the cover. Photographed by @mariotestino, styled by @tonnegood. A photo posted by Vogue (@voguemagazine) on Aug 13, 2015 at 3:21am PDT

The video is bizarre, to say the least. It's set in an ornate mansion, filmed with VHS-style broken tracking and haunting music. As Taylor Swift would say, she's a nightmare dressed like a daydream.

The cover, which features Beyoncé wearing a gown from the Marc Jacobs Fall 2015 Collection, was leaked on Twitter early Thursday.
