Warning: Spoilers for a mid-December episode of The Big Bang Theory ahead
With 50% of main male characters on the Big Bang Theory already married, it doesn't take a PhD to figure out the subject of the latest spoilerific piece of news hot from the show's set: someone's getting laid.

Executive producer Steve Molaro confirmed post-live taping that the Dec. 17 episode of the show will see Sheldon and Amy engage in coitus.
"After over five years of dating, we felt the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to finally consummate their relationship, and we're so excited for the audience to see the journey over the next several episodes," Molaro said in a statement.
This is interesting for a few reasons. First: FINALLY.
Second: The pair is still currently broken up, an event that happened in the previous season's finale just as Sheldon was about to propose. So does this mean they're getting back together before the deed happens? Or after? (Note: There are spoilers on this too, if you do a quick search, but there's no reason to ruin all the surprises of the episodes to come)
Regardless, fans of the longtime couple are seemingly pleased with this development.
