The TV show that kept you indoors three nights a week during summer has been renewed for two more seasons.

Hours before the current season's finale, CBS announced Wednesday that Big Brother will return for seasons 18 and 19, set to air summer 2015 and 2016.

This year's edition of Big Brother comes to a close Tuesday with a 90-minute finale that will crown a winner from the remaining three contestants -- mastermind Derrick, waste of space Victoria, and part-time dinosaur Cody.

Even 17 seasons in, Big Brother , hosted by Julie Chen, continues to be a lucrative property for CBS, with this season up 2% from last year in overall viewers and 4% in the 18-49 demographic.

Socially, the series also continues to generate action, with Nielsen’s SocialGuide crowning the show the top performing reality show of the summer.

Here's to two more years of sedentary summers and late nights of live-feed watching.
