My Big Fat Greek Wedding is just the latest in an unending parade of classic films that Hollywood refuses to leave untouched. That said, the trailer for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is at least as unapologetic and boisterous as its predecessor.

In this sequel, Toula (Nia Vardalos) and Ian (John Corbett) are just trying to steal some time for themselves amidst the chaos of her extended Greek family and raising their own daughter, Paris (Elena Kampouris). Paris is as fed up as her mother once was with their big, fat Greek family -- to the point where she's applying exclusively to out-of-state colleges in order to get away from them.

When the gang discovers that Toula's parents were never technically, legally married, the family pulls out all the stops for another epic marriage celebration. The original cast returns to reprise their roles as the Portokalos clan, with Andrea Martin stealing scenes as usual as Aunt Voula (whom you'll remember as the woman who absorbed her twin in the womb).

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 releases in 2016.
