One man is probably reconsidering his choice in buddies after a night out drinking led to an embarrassing morning in which firemen had to use a circular saw to get a bike lock off his head.
An unnamed man in his 20's was taken to Coventry Fire Station by his mother after he woke up to a steel bike lock fixed around his neck.

"He woke up at about 16:00 BST and found his mates had put the lock round his neck and his mates had thrown away the keys," Station Commander Pete Drummond told the BBC.

The firefighters couldn't cut through the lock with a reenforced bar cutter and had to resort to using a fire blanket and a large circular saw to get it off because, you know, a locksmith would have been too easy.
