Bill Cosby and Donald Trump's stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame will stay put.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which handles the Walk of Fame, released a statement to the Hollywood Reporter about the matter, standing firm behind its decision to keep the stars in place.

"The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has received inquiries asking whether we are planning to remove the stars of Donald Trump and Bill Cosby. The answer is no," Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Leron Gubler said. "The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark. Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk."

Both Cosby and Trump have been losing ties to several professional organizations lately due to separate controversies.

A recently-released 2005 deposition has recharged the ongoing Cosby sexual assault allegations. In the deposition, he admitted to giving drugs to women he wanted to have sex with. As a result, he was dropped by talent agency CAA.

Disney World also removed a bronze statue of the comedian that previously stood in the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza.

Trump, who is running for president, has lost ties with numerous professional organizations in the wake of his incendiary comments about Mexican immigrants. Univision, NBC and Macy's severed business relationships with the billionaire.

In addition, the 2015 PGA Grand Slam of Golf will no longer take place at the Trump National Golf Club in LA.

As the Hollywood Reporter points out, the Hollywood Walk of Fame Committee has long been staunch about its policy of not removing stars.

“Stars are awarded for professional achievement to the world of entertainment and contributions to the community," late Hollywood Walk of Fame committee chairman Johnny Grant once said. "A celebrity’s politics, philosophy, irrational behavior, outrageous remarks or anything like that have never been cause to remove a Walk of Fame star."
