Yes, we know -- it's not even Halloween yet. But don't tell that to Netflix, which just released a charming little teaser for Bill Murray's retro-fabulous holiday special, A Very Murray Christmas.

In A Very Murray Christmas, Murray plays himself, a celebrity who plans to host a holiday variety show. When a snowstorm hits New York City, Murray fears none of his illustrious guests will make it to the party -- but it wouldn't be a Christmas special without a few magical miracles.
"Tonight will go down as the greatest night in history," Murray declares to his staff in the trailer. It's a high bar, to be sure, but he has help in executive producers Sofia Coppola, Mitch Glazer, Roman Coppola and Tony Hernandez. Glazer and Murray wrote the script with Coppola, who directed.
Indeed, if the cast list is any indication, "greatest night in history" might not be so far-fetched for this fictional soiree. The teaser alone features George Clooney, Chris Rock, Miley Cyrus, Amy Poehler, Jason Schwartzman, Michael Cera, Maya Rudolph, Rashida Jones, Paul Shaffer, and Phoenix -- with many others slated to appear.
A Very Murray Christmas will be available to stream on Netflix (in all its countries) on Dec. 4.
