If you could give the gift of science, what would it look like? To find out, of course, we turn to Bill Nye.
The famed "science guy", CEO of The Planetary Society and Dancing With the Stars contestant is the latest contributor to Quarterly, a subscription service that sends curated gifts from influential people every three months.
Nye's customized package will contain items that he believes creatively raise awareness of environmental issues, as well as a personal letter that explains each item's significance.
"A great many environmental problems are before us,” Nye said in a press release. “To solve them, we'll use science. It's how we understand the world."
Subscribers and gift-givers can pay a quarterly fee of $50 for one package every three months. The first package -- which has its own hashtag, #NYE01 -- will ship at the end of October.
