Billings Police Department officer Grant Morrison was overcome with emotion after the deadly shooting of an unarmed Montana man in April, which can be seen in a newly released video from moments after the shooting.
Video of the April 14 incident was shown as part of the inquest into the death of Richard Ramirez, which was ruled on Jan. 7 as a noncriminal, justifiable homicide. Morrison shot Ramirez, a passenger in a vehicle during a traffic stop who was later found to be unarmed. Morrison said he was afraid that Ramirez was reaching for a gun; the video shows him weeping on a police car after the shooting.
