The Bing Jingle Contest, launched this afternoon, is Microsoft's search for the best Bing jingle. They're using their new YouTube channel to collect video submissions, and the winner will be awarded with a $500 American Express gift cheque.
Should you wish to lend your voice to a Bingle and a chance at 500 bucks, all you need to do is submit your video before 11:59 PST on July 31, 2009 (full contest rules here). The winning formula consists of creating something that other people watch and rate highly, as 50% weight will be given to video views and rating respectively.
