Black Widow is nowhere to be found in the UK.
She's gone missing from DVD and Blu-ray covers of Avengers: Age of Ultron that are currently available to purchase on Amazon UK. The superhero, played by actress Scarlett Johansson, is a core part of Marvel's Avengers team.
Instead, the DVD cover only features male characters: The Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America and Thor. The Blu-ray cover features the same characters, with the addition of Ultron, played by James Spader.

Author Sam Maggs noticed the odd covers, tweeting the images out to her followers.

In comparison, the U.S. covers available on Marvel's official shop and on Amazon do feature Black Widow -- though she's relegated to a much smaller section of the image, compared to the Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America and Thor. Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner, and Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, are also featured on this cover, rendered even smaller than Black Widow.
The exclusion of Black Widow is, unfortunately, nothing new. Merchandise featuring the female superhero has proven so difficult to find that Avengers star Mark Ruffalo personally asked Marvel to step up its game.
