BlackBerry has a new flagship phone, and it's making a big impression.
The BlackBerry Passport is physically large, but that isn't what makes it so atypical. The phone has a square 4.5-inch screen that sits on top of a stripped-down QWERTY keyboard, which also doubles as a touchpad.

First impressions matter, and that's why we slipped the Passport into the hands of a few people who haven't touched a BlackBerry phone in years. Will they be intrigued by the unusual qualities of its design, or aghast at the sight of its bizarre shape?
As BlackBerry's new flagship phone, the Passport is definitely different from the offerings released by Apple, Samsung and HTC. We're still trying to figure out if that's a good thing.
