The hard thing about trying to dunk a basketball blindfolded is that you can't see the actual basket.
This might seem obvious to you, enlightened reader, but it's something pro ball player Justin Melton learned the hard way in the Philippine Basketball Association's dunk contest on Friday.

In the clip, above, Melton dons a blindfold, approaches the hoop, performs a siiiick windmill -- then misses the basket by a solid 5 feet. Good times!
Lest ye get it twisted, though, Melton actually can dunk quite well. Here's his performance from the PBA dunk contest last year:
We suspect his 2015 fail may have inspired by this pseudo no-look dunk Dee Brown threw down in the 1991 NBA dunk contest:
