Today the Blippr team is launching an alpha test of the Blipbacks Network, a new service for bloggers. Using the same WordPress plug-in that powers Mashable's smiley icons, bloggers receive links back to their blogs whenever someone submits a review via the popup widget, very similar to the way Twitter apps get credit whenever someone submits a Tweet from them:

And that's not all. In addition to this, Blippr is also adding a section for related news on every app, book, game, movie, and music page that has relevant related posts. So, for example, if you write a blog post about Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the headline of that article and a link back to the full article would appear on Blippr. If you blog about web apps, books, games, movies, or music, you stand to benefit.

Here's an example of Twitter news appearing under the Twitter reviews on Blippr:

But wait, there's more! Blippr links to all your recent blog entries from its new partner pages, meaning every blog post you write earns links back from Blippr. You can see Mashable's partner page for example.
