Blogger has just released a new little toy of sorts, that shows the photos that are being uploaded to blogger accounts in real time. It's called BloggerPlay.
Google has implemented safety watch on here, so only safe images will show. You'll need to open a new screen in order to view the slide show, which can be paused, fast-forwarded, or rewound. The speed at which the slides transition can be modified as well, with a max speed of one image per 0.7 seconds. This function will be limited to your connection speed as well. Clicking an image will take you to the blog of its owner, or you can click the "show info" link directly in the player to see the user name and blog information.
If you don't want your images to show up on the BloggerPlay slide show, you'll need to opt out here. And if you'd like to watch BloggerPlay for more than an hour, it's recommended that you use Firefox 2, IE 7, Camino (Mac) or Safari 3 Beta. Unfortunately this player cannot be embedded, but perhaps that will be included in the next release.
