Bloglines, the personalized feed reader, has been working on several releases as of late, the previous being a new Beta Start Page. Now the most recent addition is the support of OpenID, a mobile version, and new personalization preferences.

OpenID is of course gaining support from several web-based services in hopes of pushing it to the level of becoming a standard across networks. Other adopters of OpenID include Listphile, Linga, and ShouldDoThis. See here for SixApart's thoughts on OpenID's future. The mobile version of bloglines comes with features optimized for mobile use, including a Start Page and improved browser support.

Included in the new personalization preferences, bloglines will now mark the individual posts that you've read. This is a common feature for feed readers, and should be standard for all of you out there that are thinking of creating a personalized feed reader service! There's also a Remember View, which gives you option of creating different views for different feeds, in case you'd like some to stand out from others. Lastly, there's the ability to turn off CSS support, which defines a delivered feed to show in the style as determined by the publisher.
