If you were in the right place on Wednesday around 6:25 a.m. ET, you saw a spectacle in the sky: a total lunar eclipse, during which the moon was blood red with a hint of turquoise.
The eclipse was at least partly visible in Most of North and South America, Australia, much of Asia and parts of Eastern Europe. In some cities, including Chicago, San Francisco, Detroit, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Havana, Beijing, Mexico City and Hong Kong, a total eclipse was visible.
