From the moment of takeoff, the 787 Dreamliner in this Boeing video of a rehearsal for the Paris Air Show is out to make an impression.
And it succeeds.
The jet takes off at an angle that would make even frequent fliers nervous, then continues on a path that is anything but typical for a commercial flight.

Boeing will be showing off its 787 Dreamliner at the 51st Paris Air Show, which runs for a week beginning Monday at Le Bourget Airport.
Although the Dreamliner has caused repeated headaches for Boeing -- the FAA grounded all of the aircraft for a period in 2013, and a computer glitch was recently discovered to be capable of shutting down both engines -- it remains a showpiece for the manufacturer.
The video, above, received a largely positive reception online.
