Booktribes Launches - Booktribes is a new social network for book lovers. List the books on your shelf and the titles you're reading, find users with similar tastes and join groups. All the basics seem to be present, but we're less blown away than we were by rivals Shelfari and LibraryThing.
NaviTraveler - Another new Google Maps mashup. NaviTraveler lets you add places, rate places, and comment on places you've visited. Also imports and exports to GPS. It's alright, but frankly there are far too many of these maps mashups for most of them to become more than side-projects.
Netvibes Goes (More) International - Netvibes just keeps piling on the regional versions. Greek, Turkish, Quebecer, Ukrainian, Russian and Danish are among those added over the Christmas period.
