We'll state up front that we completely feel for the photographers who have to cover an election, whether it's national or local. So, props to the photographers out there who held their cameras steady for the 132nd waving candidate shot and the droning campaign speeches in hotel ballrooms.

Real talk: Even with the Senate takeover drama, the 2014 midterm elections were a snooze visually, so much so that the repeating images became funny in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
