Some people take an opportunity when they see one.

Earlier this week, Sundance Film Festival-goer Sean Cassity posted a photo to Instagram of him posing with actor Bradley Cooper ... only to realize after copious Instagram comments that the other guy wasn't the Oscar-nominated actor at all. He was just some dude who happened to look remarkably like Bradley Cooper.

This could be a coincidence -- but reports have also surfaced about a Bradley Cooper lookalike running around Sundance, sneaking into parties using his sneaky doppelganger abilities. The fake Bradley used Cooper's name to get into various events, like the afterparty for Morris from America, working his looks for two nights in a row.

The actual Bradley Cooper didn't attend Sundance this year -- which is unfortunate because we would pay good money to watch those two collide.
