The NBC-owned cable network has partnered with cosmetics retailer Sephora to reward Foursquare users who unlock the Bravo Real Housewives badge with $100 Sephora gift cards at select stores in New Jersey and New York over the next four weeks.

The first person to see the promotion (via Bravo's or Sephora's tweet), show up at the specified store and show their Real Housewives badge to the manager will win the gift card. The badge reward initiative kicked off yesterday, and already both companies are excited by the online and offline activity that has been generated.

We spoke with Ellen Stone, Bravo TV's senior vice president of marketing, about the Bravo badge reward at Sephora. She says the idea is to give fans of the Real Housewives series their own Housewives moment.

Stone hopes the badge rewards will further their Foursquare success, saying that it was a calculated move on their part to partner with another company who could also benefit from Bravo's Foursquare presence. The decision to work with Sephora made sense because "they have a very Bravo-like clientele; engaged, upscale and urban."

Stone also raved about the company's ongoing relationship with Foursquare, claiming that "it's been an amazing partnership with Dennis [Crowley] and Tristan [Walker]."

Moving forward we can expect to see more of these Bravo badge rewards with other partners should the initiative prove successful.
