The rush of material on the web from the bored writers of America has begun. Break.com also spotted the opportunity to bring some fresh blood into their community, and posted a $5,000 bounty on new content from WGA members with "some free time."

The rules set out by the WGA specifically prohibit any online work, but Break CEO Keith Richman said in an interview today that "He wasn't convinced that the WGA would strictly enforce that clause," adding "Let's test it and find out."

The Hollywood Reporter cites a number of insiders that believed the WGA was "unlikely to crack down on writers who wrote for sites unaffiliated with struck companies like YouTube and Yahoo."
