We've all been there, dude.

Whether you want to blame binge-watching your favorite show until four in the morning or just plain insomnia, everyone has had a little trouble keeping themselves conscious while at work.

Unfortunately for ESPN writer Brian Windhorst, his apparent sleepy moment happened during a live broadcast of Tuesday.

Windhorst was chatting with ESPN anchor Cari Champion, when it looks as if he doses off for a moment. Even Champion was concerned, stating maybe there was a technical error. However, Windhorst came to, and began to answer the question asked after an awkward giggle.

Later, Champion defended Windhorst, stating he did not fall asleep during their conversation.

He didn't. Looks that way https://t.co/sq1OYMi5gr— Cari Champion (@CariChampion) March 29, 2016

Now in defense of Windhorst, it can be incredibly difficult to chat with someone on live TV who actually isn't in the room with you. So, maybe he was just concentrating really hard, or doing his best to hear with the slight, awkward delay that tends to happen with satellite interviews.
