Making the Perfect Cup of Coffee Is Now Fully Automated

Briggo’s Coffee Haus could make the barista obsolete. The fully automated kiosk replaces the barista behind the counter and makes coffee without any human interference.

The machine monitors the dosage size, grind coarseness, water temperature and extraction time to get a quality finished cup that is then served through a hatch in the front.

The kiosk even offers a remote ordering system. You can send in a drink order ahead of time through Briggo’s website and specify when you want to pick it up. The Coffee Haus will send you a text when your drink is ready, and you can swoop in, get your glass and walk out.

The first Coffee Haus kiosk opened this week at the University of Texas in Austin, where the company had been operating a prototype. The company plans to expand to offices, airports and other campuses.
