Brightcove, the online video network, has launched Brightcove.TV. All video content, user-generated or otherwise, is being moved to the new URL, which is pretty much a mirror of the old Brightcove.com. Fortunately for you, this move requires absolutely no action on your part.
The new URL has been created in order that Brightcove.com can be an informational, corporate site for people to learn about the company, its media solutions and products for businesses and marketers. The new distinction for URLs will hopefully make it easier for people to find information as well as videos. In all, Brightcove.TV says more about the objectives of the company than Brightcove.com, and sounds a lot like most other companies that have launched in the past year with a dedication to the sharing of video content.
