Internationally infamous recording artist Britney Spears has announced a line of Britney-themed virtual gifts on Facebook, reportedly the first time a global performer has offered "virtual gifts specific to their likeness" on the social network.
Designed in collaboration with Spears and computer iconographer Susan Kare, a first batch of a half-dozen of the virtual items went on sale for $2 a pop tonight in the Facebook Gift Shop.

Featuring birthday cakes and balloons with Britney themes, images of "memorable Britney moments" and gifts related to her current "Circus" tour, all the virtual gifts are also signed by the artist.
