After the cryptic countdown on BritneySpears.com flashed zeros under the all-capitalized phrase "ALL EYES ON ME," Britney Spears arrived via helicopter in Las Vegas on Good Morning America to announce two things: a Sin City residency and a new album.
Hundreds of schoolgirl outfit-clad women, a nod to "Hit Me Baby One More Time," greeted Spears as she landed, flipping cards showing a photo of Spears.

The two-year residency titled "Britney: Piece of Me" at Vegas' Planet Hollywood will begin Dec. 27. It will be a "performance hybrid where club meets theater," GMA announced. Tickets range from $59 to $1,500 for VIP packages and go on sale Sept. 20.
Spears is the first contemporary pop artist to orchestrate a Vegas residency, following ones from music stalwarts Elton John and Celine Dion.
The show also confirmed the 31-year-old's eighth studio album will arrive Dec. 3.
GMA's exclusive interview with Spears included a "lightning round" in which she said her first kiss was with Justin Timberlake when she was 13. She added her favorite dance move is from "Oops! ... I Did It Again."
Spears also praised Miley Cyrus, saying the highly scrutinized twerking pop star is "doing her thing." Spears will appear on Cyrus' Bangerz album, which comes out Oct. 8, on a song titled "SMS (BANGERZ)."
Spears on Sunday released "Work B**ch" a day early after it leaked online. It has already been viewed nearly 3 million times. On iTunes, it has reached No. 1 in 36 countries.
