Super Bowl XLVIII may have majorly bummed out Broncos fans, but defensive end Shaun Phillips found the silver lining.

Sunday night's game ended with a debilitating loss for the Denver Broncos to the Seattle Seahawks, 43-8. The loss came as a shock to many Denver fans, who had otherwise enjoyed watching their team through a stellar season.

Phillips took to Twitter after the game to offer his sincerest apologies to loyal Denver fans everywhere and included a screenshot of the sweetest text exchange ever from his son, Jaylen. The bad news is that the Broncos lost, but the good news is that they still have their kids' unconditional love to fall back on.
