There's something about stop motion that makes even the simplest movements look -- well, cool.

In promotion of the Brooklyn Brewery Mash, a cultural tour across the United States that kicked off after this year's SXSW festival, filmmakers Landon Van Soest and Paul Trillo created the above stop motion tour of New York's hippest borough. In total, they used more than 3,000 still photos. The result is pretty legendary -- and the soulful soundtrack doesn't hurt either.
