When Walter White was on the run in Breaking Bad, visiting an experienced makeup artist would have been an effective way to shake any of the many people who wanted him and/or Heisenberg dead off his scent.

Someone like the makeup artist that turned Bryan Cranston into President Lyndon B. Johnson.

Cranston will play the former president in HBO's adaptation of LBJ Broadway show All the Way, which Cranston won a Tony for. From the first look of Cranston in character, it's obvious that his makeup artist went all the way to perfect the transformation.

And this is how his LBJ stacks up to the real deal:

"Physically and emotionally, Bryan completely channels LBJ," director Jay Roach told People. "We just filmed him and Lady Bird in the Oval Office, after JFK's assassination. LBJ has arrived as the 'accidental President.' He's almost overwhelmed. In spiritual support, Lady Bird touches his cheek. We melted, like we went back in time and witnessed a private, heart-wrenching moment between these two great people."

All The Way premieres on HBO in 2016.
