LONDON -- From 2002 to 2005, Busted ruled the hearts of young teens and children everywhere. Those young teens and children are now very much adult and very much overwhelmed by the pop-rock trio's not-quite-unexpected announcement this morning.
Today, 10 years after the press conference at the Soho Hotel that announced their breakup, Busted met in the very same room to announce their reformation, bringing with them a 2016 tour and highly emotional video. Everyone was very excited.
Busted will play their big comeback gig at Wembley Arena, the very same place where Busted used to play sold-out gigs before Charlie Simpson walked out and the band imploded. Their gifts to the world are hits such as "What I Go To School For," "Year 3000," "You Said No" and "Air Hostess."
Matt Willis, James Bourne and Simpson shared their incredibly adorable memories of the band that was the making of them.
"Busted looked cool with Charlie there," Willis says.
