Adobe's Buzzword, the latest web-based document creation tool to get a lot of attention, has released Preview 6 weeks after opening its service up for public beta. For those of you that haven't tried Buzzword out yet, this first feature of Preview 6 may be of grave importance: Buzzword now has its own domain. It's easy enough to remember--www.buzzword.com.

[img src="" caption="" credit="" alt=""]The other upgrades are minuscule in the grand scheme of things, but important for writers who use Buzzword's tools. Word count, hyperlinks, special characters, and units measure have all been added to the document-creation tool. For sharing documents, you can now give friends and team members direct URLs for documents. This works in the same way as Zoho and Google Docs, where those you share documents with will need to be users. Alternatively you can share documents via email, also like Zoho and Google Docs.

After a major release, such as launching a public beta, it's not uncommon to see a slew of smaller features being rolled out to meet the growing demand. Such is the case with Buzzword and Preview 6, and as we've seen with Zoho, the goal to make its tools as handy and versatile as a desktop Word application.
