Prank calls typically begin, and end, around the second grade. But every once in a while, a prank call makes it to national television -- to the sound of national applause.
Republican Congressman David Brat from Virginia was appearing on C-SPAN yesterday when he got an unusual call. The call, presumably from a Democrat named Glen, started off normally enough. "My question is, we’re spending all this money, where are we getting the money from?"
Then, things took a discourteous turn. "My second question is, if I can sh*t in your mouth," the Salt Lake City caller said.
And while host John McArdle quickly apologized, it was already too late. The question had been asked. The reaction recorded. The GIF made.
