Some people will horde caffeine in any form. We just never thought it would be so creamy.

Enter: caffeinated peanut butter. Created by Steem, the spread allegedly contains the caffeine equivalent of two cups worth of coffee in as little as two tablespoons. Yikes.

Caffeinated PB was created through a conversation about hangover cures among friends, Chis Pettazzoni, one of the creators, told Mashable.

"We messed around with the recipe off and on for a year or so," Pettazzoni said. "The release of energy was so much better from the PB that I stopped drinking coffee completely."

The naturally slow digestion of peanut butter releases caffeine slowly into your body instead of in one jittery jolt, the company claims. It might be a double whammy solution to your 3 p.m. munchies/slump.

One two-tablespoon serving of this caffeinated creation contains 170 mg of caffeine. That's equivalent to two and a half cups of espresso.

The product is made with all-natural peanut butter, no artificial sweeteners and purportedly tastes identical to unadulterated all-natural peanut butter.

It's now available for purchase at select stores, Amazon and Steem's official website for $4.99 per jar.
