Man Controls ‘Call Me Maybe’ With His Actual Heart

Have you ever wished you could speed up or slow down Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" with your heartbeat?

No? Well you're not alone, but there's at least one person, a programmer, who wished just that. And he made it happen through an elaborate hack that involves wirelessly connecting a heart rate monitor to a GPS watch. That's duct-taped to a USB webcam that sends the readings via a custom-written program that determines the tempo of the song.

Ryan Challinor, the programmer who made the hack and published the video, goes on to do jumping jacks, controlling the tempo of "Call Me Maybe" with the frequency of his heartbeat.
