Nothing Cam Newton does should be surprising at this point.
But his one-month-old son, Chosen, is a different story.

Most babies take their first steps between 9 months and one year old, according to a quick Google search I just did. Chosen, as we mentioned, is one month old. But he's already walking, Cam told Super Bowl reporters in the Bay Area on Monday night.
"I was gonna bring little Chosen with me, but I didn't think he could walk down the steps yet," Newton says in the Vine above. "He's already walking if you ain't know -- he's a month old."
Chosen was born in late December to Newton and Kia Proctor, his longtime girlfriend. Newton told reporters in early January that he named the boy Chosen instead of Cam Jr. so as not to burden the youth with the expectations accompanying a prominent name. (So ...Chosen? We don't quite follow that logic either.)
But damn -- walking at one month old??
Maybe Cam is just the prequel and young Chosen is the real athlete in the family.
Now there's a scary thought.
