The financial services firm opened a branded Capital One bank in CityVille. The goat from the firm's TV commercials will now appear in FarmVille and The Pioneer Trail. Each promotion will lead players to Capital One's Facebook Page, where they can learn more about exclusive offers.
This is Capital One's second foray into FarmVille. In June, the firm's Visigoths became available for additional "Double Mastery" points.
In each case, the brand's integration with the game leads to perks for players. In CityVille, players who open a Capital One bank can get a bonus decorative item, energy and experience points. FarmVille players participating in Capital One's farm will get a limited-edition, breedable goat, which is highly valued in the game since it introduced "animal mastery" and will soon launch "animal breeding pens." Pioneer Trail has a Capital One-branded quest to assist the goat in finding his lost band mates. Players can then earn quest rewards, including a limited-edition Capital One goat.
