Taco Bell's Cap'n Crunch Delights might kill you, but what a way to go

When two titans of the food industry come together, the result is usually something amazing, delicious, and probably hazardous to your health.

The newest fast food product is no exception. Taco Bell announced on Friday that their new dessert option, Cap'n Crunch Delights, will be available for purchase starting July 2.

So what's the skinny on this decidedly-not-skinny sweet treat? Apparently the Delights are small, fried, doughnut-like balls of dough filled with icing and coated in — you guessed it — shards of Cap'n Crunch Berries.

So, basically all things that are good in this world combined into a single, edible product.

Taco Bell will sell the cereal balls in packs of two for $1, packs of four for $1.69 and packs of 12 for $4.49.

Against your better judgement, chances are you're pretty revved for the release of this culinary masterpiece. And luckily, you're in good company — the Captain himself is planning on picking up a batch:
