This $9 Cardboard Bike Actually Works

When engineers told Izhar Gafni it was impossible to build a bicycle from only cardboard, he didn't stop trying -- he just stepped up his game. He ended up with a fully functioning, fully ride-able bike made from cardboard scraps.

The bike may not be able to haul you up a mountain anytime soon, but it's got spinning wheels and will get you through your morning commute. It's even water resistant so it won't melt before your eyes.

Gafni got his inspiration from seeing a canoe built from cardboard.

The best part is this innovative creation will only cost you $9. That is, if Gafni agrees to build one for you, because it might take you a few years to master cardboard folding like this pro.

Watch the video to see how the bicycle was built.

Tell us, what other things would you challenge Gafni to make out of cardboard?
